About the Role: 
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel Manager to operate Ocean House, an eight-room bed and breakfast in Beach Cove. As the Hotel Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our hotel's smooth operation and high-quality service while also leading and motivating our team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

This position is not a live-in management role.  The operations schedule will require a 4/10 schedule commitment each week.  This role will report to the General Management team in Newport.

 
Responsibilities: 
  • Oversee daily hotel operations and guest services
  • Manage and motivate staff to provide excellent customer service
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve revenue and occupancy goals
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner
  • Provide administrative and invoice support
  • Social media to encourage revenue
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Hotel Manager or similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physically able to traverse stairs throughout the day, stand for multiple hours at a time, and lift and carry up to 30lbs
  • Strong leadership and organizational abilities
  • Knowledge of hotel management software and financial management
  • Degree in Hospitality Management or relevant field

Compensation: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
