About the Role:
Join the vibrant team at Cafe Sylvia, where we serve delicious breakfast food and create memorable experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Cafe Sylvia is located on the lower level of the newly renovated Hotel Sylvia and will welcome hotel guests and the public. Cafe Sylvia will serve a casual breakfast with locally sourced ingredients and cuisine from 8 AM to 11 AM daily.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor.
- Take and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Deliver food and beverages to tables promptly.
- Provide menu recommendations and answer questions about food and drinks.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
- Handle cash and process payments with attention to detail.
- Maintain a positive and energetic attitude in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a server in a restaurant or cafe setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Positive attitude and a passion for customer service.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.

Compensation: $15.05 per hour
